32 bit Excel 2016 with ALERE 7.2 or higher.
appears that installing Excel 2016 removes some ODBC information that
ALERE uses. It could be one or both of the items below.
installing Excel 2016, you need to go to your Control Panel,
Administrative Tools and open the "ODBC Data Source Administrator
DRIVERS Tab, you must have the driver:
"Microsoft Excel Driver (xls, xlsx, xlsm, xlsb)".
do not have it you can go to:
download the driver.
second step is to go to the USER DSN tab. You need an entry there of:
Microsoft Excel Driver (xls, xlsx, xlsm, xlsb)
should allow running ALERE with Excel 2016, 32-bit.
